Group Elephant’s AWS services practice enables retail sector SaaS specialist Evosus to accelerate deployments by 75%, with tripled client capacity.
Evosus caters for specialty retailers with SaaS technology covering inventory, field service operations and in-store transactions. Its flagship platform ’LOU’ is used by hundreds of small to mid-sized businesses. As adoption has grown, scaling limitations, increasingly manual processes, and constrained system control have made it harder to deliver new features and maintain performance. The AWS practice’s intervention has dealt with those limitations convincingly, yielding recently modernized Evosus cloud infrastructure and significantly bolstered scalability, performance and operational efficiency. The move to a flexible AWS architecture has reduced deployment times, increased capacity and strengthened performance during peak demand periods.
The deployment included the Elastic Kubernetes Service and Amazon Aurora for PostgreSQL. Automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and secure multi-account governance, streamlined operations and improved visibility. Monitoring, identity management and networking enhancements have yielded improved stability and security.

Deployment cycles were cut from five hours to two, backup times reduced from three hours to under 20 minutes, and performance has improved by 40 percent. With 99.99 percent availability, Evosus now confidently meets the uptime expectations of the businesses that rely on LOU to run most aspects of their operations.
